"This product gets a thumbs down from me."
I've tried using this item four times over the last six months, and every single time, I ended up needing new batteries. Plus, once you swap out the batteries, there's a 30-minute wait. Honestly, I think it's wiser to hold onto your cash and go for a classic thermometer instead.

"I cannot recommend this product."
I've only used this product four times within a span of six months, and each time I had to replace the batteries. Additionally, after replacing the batteries, you have to wait for 30 minutes. In my opinion, it's better to save your money and purchase an old-fashioned thermometer.

"Yummly used to be a great online resource."
Yummly was a fantastic online resource in the past, but sadly, they've been making a bunch of changes that have turned it into something less appealing. I mean, come on. They've rolled out yet another set of updates, and it's getting pretty annoying to navigate. I reckon I might have to look for something else. Plus, even when I tell it not to show recipes with a certain ingredient, it goes ahead and does it anyway. It's super frustrating.

"Yummly was once an excellent online tool."
Yummly used to be an excellent online tool, but unfortunately, they have been constantly making changes that have made it less desirable. I mean, seriously. They have just made yet another round of changes, and it has become quite frustrating to use. I think I need to start searching for an alternative. Moreover, even when I specifically instruct it not to display recipes with a particular ingredient, it still does so. It's really irritating.

"Deceptive Practices"
This site is well-known for its sneaky bait and switch methods. I often stumble upon links to their page while browsing the web, but when I click on them, the article I was expecting is missing. Instead, I find myself facing a misleading landing page that tries to gather my personal details.

"Bait & Switch"
This website is notorious for bait and switch tactics. I frequently come across links to their site during web searches, but upon clicking on them, the promised article is nowhere to be found. Instead, I am greeted with a deceptive landing page that attempts to collect my personal information.

"This site was once awesome."
The site was a dependable spot for all sorts of recipes and inventive ideas. But now, it’s a letdown since you gotta sign up and cough up some cash just to see the best recipes. It’s super annoying. All I want is to get to the recipes and instructions, without all those extra videos. I really hope they go back to how it used to be, when it was way easier to use.

"Avoid this app at all costs!"
I gave the free trial a shot, and boy, do I wish I hadn’t. I can’t seem to cancel it, and the app won’t let me remove my account because of a subscription that’s still active. On top of that, the recipes offered were just plain disappointing. Seriously, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this awful site.

"Absolutely terrible! I strongly advise against downloading this app under any circumstances."
I decided to try out the free trial, and I deeply regret my decision. Not only am I unable to cancel it, but the app also refuses to let me delete my account due to an ongoing subscription. Moreover, the recipes provided were completely underwhelming. I strongly advise you to avoid this terrible website and spare yourself the trouble.

"Honestly, among all the recipe sites I've seen, this one takes the cake for being the worst."
I often look for and print new recipes to experiment with. But, I gotta say, the Yummly site is super annoying and really not easy to use. Printing a recipe straight from the site? Forget about it! Their so-called 'help' guide says you need to email the recipe to yourself first and then print it? That's just a letdown. I'd strongly suggest you check out other sites that are way better designed and way more user-friendly.

"I have to say, out of all the recipe websites I have come across, this one is by far the worst."
I frequently browse and print out new recipes to try. However, I consistently find the Yummly website to be incredibly frustrating and not at all user-friendly. It's actually impossible to print a recipe directly from the site. According to their "help" guide, you have to send the recipe to yourself and then print it from there? It's quite disappointing. I would highly recommend checking out other websites that are much better designed and user-friendly.

"Yummly's Sneaky Data Grab Attempt"
I got a heads-up from Duck Duck Go that Yummly was trying to swipe my info while I was setting up my account. Luckily, that shady move was blocked, and I was able to finish the setup by typing in the Yummly sign-in link in a fresh tab. Just to be clear, Yummly has no right to peek at any data linked to my Gmail, especially since they haven't been given the green light to see my credit card info or home address. Plus, they didn’t even ask for that kind of access. This kind of behavior feels like theft to me, kinda like someone breaking into my mailbox or rifling through my mail without a nod from me, or barging into my home or wallet uninvited. Yummly really has no business snooping around my online accounts.

"Yummly attempts to gather unauthorized information."
Duck Duck Go alerted me with a notification that yummly attempted to steal information while I was setting up my yummly account. This unauthorized attempt was successfully blocked, and I managed to complete the account setup by manually entering the yummly sign-in address in a new tab. It is important to note that yummly does not have any rights to access data associated with my gmail account, especially since they have not been granted permission to view my credit card details or personal address. Furthermore, yummly did not even request such access. This behavior can be considered as theft, similar to breaking into my mailbox or opening my mail without permission, or even entering my home or wallet without authorization. Yummly has no entitlement to intrude into my web accounts.

"Attempted Data Theft by Yummly"
I had a pretty rough experience with Yummly that I think is worth mentioning. It looks like there was a try to swipe my personal info through their app.

I've been using Yummly for a while now and really liked how easy it was to discover new recipes and keep track of my favorites. But then, out of the blue, I got a sketchy email that seemed to come from Yummly, asking me to confirm my account details. Something felt off, so I decided to dig a little deeper.

Duck Duck Go gave me a heads-up that Yummly was trying to grab my info while I was setting up my account. Luckily, that unauthorized attempt got blocked, and I was able to finish setting up my account by typing in the Yummly sign-in link in a new tab. It's crucial to point out that Yummly has no rights to access any data linked to my Gmail, especially since they haven't been given the green light to see my credit card info or home address. Plus, they didn't even ask for that kind of access. Yummly has no right to poke around in my online accounts.

"I'm really not a fan of Yummly."
I love looking up recipes on the internet, and Yummly really takes the lead in search results with its vast selection. But I've found that a lot of the links for directions just don’t function right. It’s super annoying to find a recipe that lacks any guidance. I would appreciate it if Yummly could sort this problem out and repair their links.

Yummly Q&A

why are there just US recipes, I am in Australia and try to find international recipes and all I get is simplified US styles.
